The SAFE programme helps to match researchers at risk with potential host institutions in the EUÂ with the aim of developing a joint proposal in response to the SAFE call for applications.
This section is for non-EU researchers facing risks and seeking a host institution in the EU to apply for the SAFE fellowship.
This section offers details on eligibility criteria and guides you through the matchmaking process.
This section is for Higher Education Institutions and research organisations interested in applying for the SAFE fellowship and looking for a researcher. This section outlines how to express interest in participating in the matchmaking service.
Please note that being eligible for the matchmaking or being matched with a host institution or a researcher does not automatically ensure a SAFE fellowship, nor that the fellowship application is eligible. The host institution will need to submit a proposal for the call for fellowships, which is a competitive process. Be also aware that submitting an expression of interest for participating in the matchmaking service or being eligible for matchmaking does not ensure that you will be successfully matched.
